Dear plant,
you grow on most land
In a diverse climate
you root and grow elegant
Strong and tall
you are so wonderful
leaves like a crown
flowers sticky white or brown
of many things you are the source
food, textile, bio-plastic, paper,
energy, building materials and of course
while growing you clean the soil and the air
You demonstrate devoted care

You heal our planet for now and generations to come
for me and everyone
If humans just let you be
so you can release the healing energy
Hemp you are my favorite plant
my hero and everybody’s friend
