Manifestation D-Day
Every province of the Netherlands organizes a manifestation for freedom on Sunday 6 June. The weather is fantastic, sun with a breeze. The manifestation of the south of Holland is in Rotterdam from 1 to 3 pm.

D-Day
The name D-Day refers to the day the Allies were parachuted onto the beach of Normandy. This allowed the Allies to push through and liberate the west from the Germans to end World War II.

Fundamental rights
The reference is appropriate when you realize that before and during a war a regime oppresses people and deprives them of freedom. This time it’s our own government doing this. Supposedly submissioned by a contract with the WHO. Cancel the contract.

Then it becomes clear that people who are richer than countries orgastrate this worldwide crisis. Do they own most countries in the world? When people stand together physically en spiritially, they can give meaning to their independence, souvereinity, responsibility and freedom.

Rotterdam
There are simultanious manifestations in 11 other cities. The turnout in rotterdam is around 400 persons. This manifestation has been approved by the municipality. Participants have come with dogs and children.

Law enforcement
There’re enough cops to facilitate the march. The organization also has volunteers who support. There’s no riot police can be seen and the officers are appraochable.

Speakers
The manifestation starts with a welcome, followed by three speakers. First Petra, the Frog, tells her story. Darell dressed in devil’s costume takes over for her with a poem. Andre gives the last speech. All three are known from manifestations for freedom.

March
From the Schouwburgplein the route runs via the Kruisplein to the Mauritsstraat. Then to the Nieuwe Binnenweg, the Mathernesserlaan, the Gravendijkwal and via the West Kruiskade, back to the Kruisplein. Flyers are handed out to passers-by along the way.

Tribute
Participants pay a tribute to the statue of the ‘unbroken resistance’ on Kruisplein. The former soldiers are in front of the march pay a salut. Others follow by laying flowers on to the statue.

The statue is a stone’s throw from Schouwburgplein. It’s a short march is less crowded area’s and that raises questions. The purpose of a march is to reach people.

Sun or shade
It is far before 3 pm when we’re back at the Schouwburgplein. Manifestors engage in conversations, make music and dance in the sun or shade. Groups are created organicly where drinks and treats are shared.

Silence
The end time is at 3 p.m. A cop walks up to Frog to tell her to turn off the music. The demonstration is over, so the rules of the street apply again. This is so childisch of the police.

Fundamental rights
Trust in the police has been lost due to abuse of power and excessive policebrutality. Organizations register the manifestation for peace and safety. Unfortunately, the conditions imposed by the government are a major curtailment of fundamental rights.

The police receive compliments and applause by a good cooperation. Today peaceful manifestors can hardly reach the public by a short and less crowded route. This raises the question wether organisations registrer a manifestation. Demonstrating and manifesting is a fundamental right.

Manifestatie D-Day
Elke provincie van Nederland organiseert op zondag 6 juni een manifestatie voor vrijheid. Het weer is fantastisch, zon met een briesje. Van 13.00 tot 15.00 uur is de manifestatie in Rotterdam.

D-Day
De naam D-Day verwijst naar de dag waarop de geallieerden met een parachute op het strand van Normandië werden gedropt. Hierdoor konden de geallieerden doorstoten en het westen van de Duitsers bevrijden om de Tweede Wereldoorlog te beëindigen.

Fundamentele rechten
De verwijzing is passend als je je realiseert dat een regime voor en tijdens een oorlog mensen onderdrukt en vrijheid ontneemt. Dit keer is het onze eigen overheid die dit doet. Zogenaamd in opdracht van een contract met de WHO. Annuleer het contract.

Dan wordt duidelijk dat mensen die rijker zijn dan landen deze wereldwijde crisis orgastreren. Bezitten zij de meeste landen in de wereld? Als mensen fysiek en spiritueel samen opstaan ​​kunnen ze betekenis geven aan hun zelfstandigheid, soevereiniteit, verantwoordelijkheid en vrijheid.

Rotterdam
In 11 andere steden zijn gelijktijdig manifestaties. De opkomst is ongeveer 400 personen in Rotterdam. Deze manifestatie is goedgekeurd door de gemeente. Deelnemers zijn met honden en kinderen gekomen.

Politie
Er zijn genoeg agenten om de mars te faciliteren. De organisatie heeft ook vrijwilligers die ondersteunen. Er is geen oproerpolitie te zien en de agenten zijn benaderbaar.

Sprekers
De manifestatie begint met een welkom, gevolgd door drie sprekers. Eerst vertelt Petra, de Kikker haar verhaal. Darell, gekleed in duivelskostuum, neemt het van haar over met een gedicht. André houdt de laatste toespraak. Ze zijn alle drie bekend van manifestaties voor vrijheid.

Mars
Vanaf het Schouwburgplein loopt de route via het Kruisplein naar de Mauritsstraat. Daarna naar de Nieuwe Binnenweg, de Mathernesserlaan, de Gravendijkwal en via de West-Kruiskade, terug naar het Kruisplein. Onderweg worden flyers uitgedeeld aan voorbijgangers.

Eerbetoon
Bij het standbeeld van het ‘ongebroken verzet’ op het Kruisplein is een eerbetoon. De oud-soldaten staan ​​voor de mars en brengen een saluut. Anderen volgen door bloemen op het beeld te leggen.

Het beeld ligt op een steenworp afstand van het Schouwburgplein. Het is een korte mars in minder drukke gebieden en dat roept vragen op. Het doel van een mars is om mensen te bereiken.

Zon of schaduw
Het is ver voor 15.00 uur als we terug zijn op het Schouwburgplein. Manifestanten gaan samen in gesprek, maken muziek en dansen in de zon of schaduw. Organisch ontstaan groepjes waar drankjes en lekkernijen worden gedeeld.

Stilte
De eindtijd is om 15.00 uur. Een agent loopt naar Frog toe om haar te vertellen de muziek uit te zetten. De demonstratie is voorbij, dus de regels van de straat gelden weer. Dit is zo kinderachtig van de politie.

Grondrechten
Het vertrouwen in de politie is weg door machtsmisbruik en buitensporig politiegeweld. Organisaties melden de manifestatie aan voor vrede en veiligheid. Helaas zijn de voorwaarden die de overheid stelt een grote inperking van grondrechten.

Bij een goede samenwerking krijgt de politie complimenten en applaus van de deelnemers. Vandaag kunnen vreedzame manifestanten het publiek nauwelijks bereiken door een korte en minder drukke route. Dit roept de vraag op of organisaties manifestatie aanmelden bij de gemeente. Demonstreren en manifesteren is een grondrecht.
