What is there to say, images speak for themselves.

Perhaps mainstream media has a different story. Just like the police with their reportage.
– I miss the piece that civilians protected the police by standing between the protesters and the police.
– The story of the Romeos is told differently. Romeos are special police force. Where they are, there is fighting.
– Many people were fearful, upset, angry or enraged after the police, riot police and Romeos surrounded civilians for the third time and used excessive force, even against the elderly. The people remained reasonable. There was a need and space for conversation with two officers. They stood calmly in our midst.

I am proud of the so many different people who come together. Old and young, hippies and families, supporters and solists, disabled people and reporters, different backgrounds, we all come together as human beings to stand up for our constitutional rights, the truth, transparency and end the emergency law.

Our democracy is broken.
Are we heading for what is happening in our neighboring countries?
We are the world 🌎 and the world 🌍 that are WE!

Wellicht heeft mainstream-media een ander verhaal. Net als de politie met hun reportage.
– Ik mis het stuk dat burgers de politie beschermden door tussen de demonstranten en de politie te gaan staan.
– Het verhaal van de Romeo’s wordt anders verteld. Romeo’s zijn knokploegen van de politie. Waar zij zijn, wordt er gevochten.
– Veel mensen waren angstig, overstuur, boos of woedend, nadat de politie, de oproerpolitie en Romeo’s voor de derde keer burgers hadden omsingeld en buitensporig geweld hadden gebruikt, zelfs tegen ouderen. De mensen bleven redelijk. Er was behoefte aan en ruimte voor een gesprek met twee agenten. Ze stonden kalm in ons midden.

Ik ben trots op de zoveel verschillende mensen die samenkomen. Oud en jong, hippies en families, supporters en solisten, gehandicapten en verslaggevers, verschillende achtergronden, we komen allemaal samen als mensen om voor onze grondwettelijke rechten, de waarheid, transparantie op te komen en een einde te maken aan de spoedwet.

Onze democratie is gebroken.
Zijn we op weg naar wat er in onze buurlanden gebeurt?
Wij zijn de wereld 🌎 en de wereld 🌍 dat zijn WIJ!
