Back to basic is the theme of the Women for Freedom manifestation.

‘Women for Freedom’ stands up for freedom of expression, connection, transparency, autocracy and a world where there’s real contact and humanity. ‘Back to Basics’ is the title of Women for Freedom’s ninth event.

Saturday, April 1, is no joke. A lot of rain is predicted. That scares people away. But those who are familiar with the manifestations of ‘Women for Freedom’ know that it will be an afternoon full of treats and connection. However, the critical social note can be heard in all the speakers and performances. Not anger, but validation of who we’re as human beings as creators and connectors.

The gray sky discharges, fine raindrops fall on the umbrellas of those in front of the large stage. Alternating presenters announce the program. In the audience, many acquaintances see each other again. Max is happy to see the sign of Lady Hemp. We greet each other with a big hug.

Agenda 2029
Meeting Katie is very spontaneous. We know each other from a zoom meeting two years ago. Today we meet in person. She has not forgotten my contribution about hemp in the zoom. Now she’s with the organization agenda 2029, a buttom up initiative with its own goals for a better world.

Tents on the side
In the tent with the photobooth you can have photos taken. Two prints are given to you as souvenirs. I take a picture together with Lady Hemp. On the right side is a tent with information and merchandise from ‘Women for Freedom’. In the tent next to it are tables where organizations have placed their flyers and books. Watt is there with magazines for pioneers, the second timebook by LuMens is for sale by Ferdinand van der Neut, the Doctors Collective is there and people from ‘the fourth wave‘.

Julia’s
Walking through the crowd in the rain are the Julia’s. They’re recognizable in their white skirts with big black dots and orange petticoats. On their heads they wear lavish floral ornaments. Their faces are painted with flowers. Today they are handing out yellow tulips.

Karin Bloemen
Unfortunately, I did not see Karin Bloemen. I Heard she was sharp, though. On the video of this event I can see her again. Her act as Kristina Bilderberg is with this blog. Kristina says everything about the global power relationship .

Ernst Jansz
Known from the ‘Doe Maar’ era, he’s on stage today with guitar and harmonica to make his contribution for ‘Women for Freedom’. Between his songs, he talks about how the measures from the health crisis have affected him.

Desie
Desie has performed with ‘Women for Freedom’ before. In her last song, she shoots full of emotion and can’t sing for a moment. Then she picks herself up to finish the song as is.

Stef Bos
Upon emergence, he warned that he likes to talk. But everyone kient him from his poetic songs with power. He accompanies himself behind the piano. In between singing, he speaks about the unreal times. He speaks as a son, as a father, as a friend and above all, as a human being.

In his youth, he learned to always ask questions. But questioning or critical thinking at one point was dangerous. People were labeled and shut out of society.

Speakers
Arno Wellens speaks about the financial tornado sweeping through the banking world. Other speakers are Sabine Pinedo and Bram Bakker.

Imagine
Making magic together with the final Song ‘Imagine’ from john Lennon. Led by a conductor on the piano. Everyone is invited to sing along. Music connects, singing together is magical.

It has been more than a year since Women for Freedom hosted an event. At that time, Sandra was still alive. She was a volunteer with Women for Freedom.

With each event, I go home with more inspiration, connection and strength. I can’t wait for the next one. Hopefully the tenth edition will be this year on a beautiful sunny day.

Vrouwen voor vrijheid staan op voor vrijheid van meningsuiting, verbinding, transparantie, autocratie en een wereld waarin écht contact en medemenselijkheid is. Terug naar de basis is de titel van de negende manifestatie van Vrouwen voor Vrijheid.

Zaterdag 1 april is geen grap. Er is veel regen voorspeld. Dat schrikt mensen af. Maar wie de manifestaties van Vrouwen voor Vrijheid kent weet dat het een middag wordt vol met traktaties en verbinding. Wel is de kritische maatschappelijke noot bij alle sprekers en optredens terug te horen. Geen boosheid, maar bekrachtiging van wie wij zijn als menswezens als creators en verbinders.

De grijze lucht ontlaadt zich, fijne regendruppels vallen op de paraplu’s van de mensen voor het grote podium. Wisselende presentatoren kondigen het programma aan. In het publiek zien veel bekenden elkaar, zoals Max. Hij wil met het bord van Lady Hemp op de foto. We groeten elkaar met een knuffel.

Agenda 2029
De ontmoeting met Katie is heel spontaan. We kennen elkaar van een zoom meeting twee jaar geleden. Vandaag in levende lijve.  Zij is mijn bijdrage over hennep in de zoom niet vergeten. Nu is ze bij de organisatie agenda 2029, een buttom up initiatief met eigen doelen voor een betere wereld.

Tentjes aan de zijkant
In de tent met de fotobooth kun je foto’s laten maken. twee printjes krijg je als herinnering mee. Ik ga samen met Lady Hemp op de foto. Aan de rechter zijkant staan een overdekt tentje met informatie en merchandise van Vrouwen voor Vrijheid. In de tent ernaast staan tafels waar organisaties hun flyers en boeken hebben neergelegd. Watt staat er met magazines voor pioniers, het tweede tijdboek van LuMens is te koop bij Ferdinand van der Neut, het Artsen collectief staat er en mensen van de vierde golf.

Julia’s
Door het publiek in de regen lopen de Julia’s. Ze zijn herkenbaar in hun feestelijke witte rokken met grote zwarte noppen en oranje petticoats. Op hun hoofd dragen ze een uitbundige bloemen tooi. Hun gezicht is beschilderd met bloemen. Vandaag delen ze gele tulp uit.

Karin Bloemen 🌺
Helaas heb ik Karin Bloemen niet gezien. Wel gehoord dat ze scherp was. Op de video van deze manifestatie kan ik haar terug zien. Haar act als Kristina Bilderberg is bij deze blog, aangezien het alles zegt over de globale machtsverhouding .

Ernst Jansz
Bekend uit de Doe Maar tijd, staat hij vandaag op het podium met gitaar en mondharmonica om zijn bijdrage te leveren aan het kritisch liefdevolle gedachtegoed van de Vrouwen voor Vrijheid. Tussen zijn liedjes door vertelt hij hoe de maatregelen uit de gezondheidscrisis hem hebben geraakt.

Desie
Desie heeft vaker opgetreden bij Vrouwen voor Vrijheid. In haar laatste nummer schiet ze vol van emotie en kan even niet meer zingen. Daarna herpakt ze zich om het nummer alsnog te eindigen.

Stef Bos
Bij opkomst waarschuwde hij dat hij van praten houdt. Maar iedereen kient hem van zijn poëtische liederen met kracht. Hij begeleidt zichzelf achter de piano. Tussen het zingen door spreekt hij als zoon, als vader, als vriend en vooral als mens over de mensonterende tijd. In zijn jeugd heeft hij geleerd om altijd vragen te stellen. Maar vragen of kritisch denken werd op een gegeven moment als gevaarlijk bestempeld. Mensen werden gelabeld.

Sprekers
Arno Wellens spreekt over de financiële tornado die door de bankenwereld raast. Andere sprekers zijn Sabine Pinedo en Bram Bakker.

Imagine
Samen magie met het Eind lied ‘Imagine’ van John Lennon. Onder leiding van een dirigent en begeleid door piano wordt iedereen uitgenodigd om mee te zingen. muziek verbind, samen zingen is magisch.

Het is meer dan een jaar geleden dat Vrouwen voor Vrijheid een event organiseerden. Op dat moment is Sandra nog in leven. Zij was vrijwilliger bij Vrouwen voor Vrijheid.
Bij elke manifestatie ga ik met meer inspiratie, verbinding en kracht naar huis. Ik kan niet wachten op de volgende. Hopelijk komt de tiende editie dit jaar op een mooie zonnige dag.
